Tooling Engineer
Reporting to Tooling Manager.
Key responsibilities:
 Provide tool and die engineering support to the manufacturing groups.
Ensure tooling modifications and designs achieve quality requirement and cost savings.
Coordinate quality, productivity improvement and tooling upgrade projects.
Provide effective reports on mold and die set performance.
Provide new product development, new equipment enhancement and EOL
integrated line.
Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering degree with minimum 2 years experience in mold, tool and die
in a semiconductor environment.
Knowledge in autocad, semiconductor assembly processes.
Knowledge of trim & form or EOL processes preferred.
Well versed in properties of tool and die materials.
Other than the requirements set out above, please note that all positions require candidates to have good communication and computer skills, be a team player, practice a participative management style and have exposure to a team-based continuous improvement culture.
