Process Engineer/Senior Engineer & Staff
Engineer
This position reports to the Engineering Section Manager/Manager
Key responsibilities:
Provide technical support /solutions to resolve critical/chronic
issues in assembly line.
Establish and standardize plant-wide process control requirements.
Work on process, quality
and productivity improvement projects.
Evaluate new assembly materials/design and perform qualification
for mass production. Work
on process improvement for new products
that phase in from the
development group. Ensure all processes related
documentation and specifications
are updated.
Ensure continuous improvement to achieve robust processes
through
improvements in software,
hardware and procedures.
Lead the team in cost reduction programs through material,
equipment
and process simplification.
Ensure yield improvements, PPM reduction
and quality incident elimination
to achieve zero defects.
Enhance process defect monitoring and detection systems effectively
to
achieve zero defects.
Tooling up of new packages and setting up
of new processes.
Requirements:
Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Physics
or Material Science).
Minimum 3 years experience in semiconductor assembly environment
is required.
Familiar with MLP (punched and sawn version), SOT223, SOIC, TSSOP,
power packages and miniature packages (eg. SC70).
For FOL, familiar with WB: ASM Eagle 60AP, Esec 3006, Exec 3008,
DA: Esec 2007, Alphasem, Saw: Disco DFD 641. In depth process skills
on : FOL machine models, leadframe material and design, gold wire and
DA epoxy material/functions/properties. Supporting tool design like wb capilarry
and da collet and cu wire bonding.
For EOL, familiar with Mold: ASM, ASA, TnF: GPM. In depth process skills
on: Molding, dedam/dejunk and form/singulation processes, good mechanical,
material process knowledge, autocad, mold cpd characterization and tooling
knowledge.

management style and have exposure to a team-based continuous
improvement culture.
